Compass Automation - Effective date: 27 July 2026

      Effective date: 27 July 2026

This page describes the privacy practices of Compass Automation, a private, single-user workflow tool operated by Amer Morgan (amermorgan.com) to manage video publishing on his own YouTube channel, The Executive Audit Compass.

      What this tool is

Compass Automation is an internal automation built on n8n. It drafts educational internal-audit video scripts for the owner's review, renders approved scripts into videos, and uploads them to the owner's own YouTube channel on a schedule. It has a single user — the owner. It offers no service to the public, has no user accounts, and no public interface.

Use a text section to describe your values, show more info, summarize a topic, or tell a story.

      Use of YouTube API Services

Compass Automation uses YouTube API Services to upload videos, schedule their publication, set the synthetic-media disclosure, and add videos to playlists — exclusively on the owner's own channel. Through this use, the tool and its sole user are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms

Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

      Data collection and storage

The tool does not collect, store, process, or share any personal information from any third party.

It does not access any YouTube user data other than the owner's own channel content and metadata.

It does not use cookies, analytics, tracking, or advertising technologies.

The only stored credentials are the owner's own OAuth tokens and API keys, held encrypted in the n8n credential store and used solely to perform the actions described above.

No API data is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party.

      Data retention and deletion

The tool stores no third-party data, so there is nothing to retain or delete. The owner's own OAuth tokens can be removed at any time by deleting the credential in n8n.

      Revoking access

The owner (the only connected account) can revoke this tool's access to his Google/YouTube data at any time via Google security settings: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
